About LayerX

Established in 2007, Bruce Trevarthen heads up LayerX after moving back to the Waikato from nine years based in Wellington. Back in 1998 Bruce Trevarthen established E-Solutions (NZ) Limited and worked primarily with Wellington clients such as Telecom and IBM. Renamed in 2000 to ZeroOne (NZ) Limited the company continued to expand into the software development and hosted services space.

The driving force behind LayerX is the increasing opportunity available to small business through hosted services and rapid application development. New Zealand has one of the largest percentage of small businesses in the world... therefore, combined with an early-adopter approach to technology, it seems that New Zealand small business has real potential to gain from the emerging technolgies that fill the news and blog sites today.
